Wow. Abby Wambach goes for gold in her commencement speech
If you've visited my website, you know that I not only love soccer, I use it as a metaphor to express who I am professionally. That is because soccer has given me so many lessons about life that extend far beyond the pitch.
Recently, Abby Wambach gave the commencement address at Barnard University. If you need a primer on who Abby Wambach is, she is an American soccer player who is a USA Olympic gold champion, a FIFA Women's World Cup champion and most impressively, she is the leading all-time international scorer in professional soccer. Period.
